Contributions of Dogs to Human Civilization

Did you know it might be only because of dogs that we humans have permanent cities? A study of indigenous tribes shows that those with dogs stay in one place longer as compared to those tribes without dogs. This is because the dogs would eat food remains and other garbage, keeping settlements cleaner and therefore allowing us to live there longer.
