As it turns out, there is some truth to the old werewolves. According to a 2001 Science World article, a British medical study claims that the lunar cycle affects dog behavior. Scientists analyzed medical records of 1,621 dog-bite victims during a three year span. They concluded that the chance of being bitten by a dog is twice as high during a full moon. That sure sheds some light on the mystery of the werewolf!
